My town is not worth fighting for. The people that live in my town, my family, my friends, and everyone else is worth fighting for. Eventhough the things in my town are nice, they wouldn't mean anything to me if the people within the town weren't there. I don't make as many connections with the town as i do with the people. If i came home after years of absence and the town was perfectly fine, but all the people who lived there moved away, it wouldn't feel like home; i would feel lost. I don't think just the people of the town make up the town, obviously i care for the town itself, but only because of the memories that i see when i look at different things. If i grew up in a different town, with different people in it, Laurel springs and the people that lived in that town wouln't matter to much to me. Itwould just look like a strange town with strange people who i wouln't care to know.

Is Odyysseus a good leader

Odysseus is a good leader. He is a good leader because he is wise, loyal, and he takes risks. He is wise when he tells the cyclops that his name is nobody. He was wise because when they were attacking him the cyclops couldn't ask for help because he said nobody was attacking him. He is loyal because he looks out for his men. He looks out for them when they were in the cyclop's cave because he made sure everyone else got out safely before he got out. He takes risks when he makes all the men put bees wax in there ears while the song was playing, while he listens to it.

Odysseus' encounter with Aeolus and the situation leading up to the accident involving Aeolus's bag of wind, was beneficial, but at the same time a disadvantage. Odysseus is to blame because if he just told his men what was in the bag, they would have already been back home, but it's not like Odysseus expected them to open it. At the same time Odysseus' men are mainly to blame because Odysseus is there leader and there job is to listen to him. They should have complete trust in him. The fact that they were back home didn't seem to fulfill them enough. There wanting for more than they need gets the best of them, so they open the bag only to find, no gold, and no more Ithaca.
